Gmail Launches New themes

Hello Folks..

I am not writing frequently cuz U know I am gettin a bit lazy.
Well today as soon as I opened my Gmail Account I could find yet another new feature introduced by Google mail. That is nothing but the much awaited Themes for the Gmail.
Usually people start off with few themes and once they click well then they go for Upgradations.
But .....Google went one step ahead( as Always)..and has launcehd 31 different themes at a time.
Many of them are based on the colors.Besides there are also some other themes featuring patterns and Images in the Background. On a whole there are 16 color based themes and 15 images and pattern based themes.

I liked the DESK theme very much and here is a Screenshot of that ..

Also there is a li'l good news for the orkut freaks .....
The Bus Stop and the Tea House themes which are a huge HIT in the Orkut world are also available in Gmail...
So U can still have the same Look and Feel of orkut in Ur Gmail too...

Well How to apply the themes????

This is the main point in writing this post.
It is as Simple as " Finding a Chat Bhandar on the Hyderabadi Roads".....

Jus Click on the Settings Tab in the Gmail window.

From the Settings GO to --> Themes and select a theme from the given options.

Enjoy Your New G MAIL themes.............

Cheers,
Sriki

Google adds video and voice chat to Gmail

Google Inc added a voice and video chat feature to its Gmail email service on Tuesday, launching a free Web-based service that competes with the likes of eBay's Skype.

Gmail and Google App subscribers can now choose to speak with friends on a video screen and simultaneously instant message them in a Google Chat box.

The video screen can be popped out of the chat box and moved around a user's computer screen. Users can also change the size of the screen and expand it to full-screen size.

"The idea was to make it quicker and easier to communicate with other people by whatever means is best convenient," said Google spokesman Jason Freidenfelds.

"It's a nice alternative for businesses looking for another way for people to connect," he added.

The feature is available for both PC and Apple computer users.

A webcam and small web browser plug-in are required to use the video chat. Users who do not have a webcam will still be able to chat with friends by voice.
